"Refurbished but terrible food"

A review of The New Inn by Julie Chapman written on Tuesday 31st of May 2011

How delighted we were when the New Inn was being refurbished. We visted and were impressed with the transformation. However the food was terrible. We paid £7.95 for Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas. The fish was small, undercooked and was a tasteless piece of white fish is soggy beer batter. The chips were homemade but were black and grubby on some of them. The mushy peas were squashed garden peas. We did complain and didnt eat much of our meals - we were not even offered a refund. There are much better places to eat nearby, so for now avoid this place until they have improved..
